Donation to Local Charities

On Wednesday 6th May 2009, Lodge Kil Bryd donated £800 to local charities.

A cheque for £400 was presented to the Kilbryde Hospice and another £400 cheque was presented to The Royal Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhill.

The R.W.M. Bro. Scott Henderson and P.M. Bro. Sid Hanna presented the cheques to Lynn Stewart from the Kilbryde Hospice and Kirsten Sinclair from the Yorkhill Children's Foundation.

The money was raised at a recent Sportsman's Dinner organised by Sid and Scott.

The Brethren of the Lodge would like to thank the guest speakers for the night John 'Bomber' Brown, Alan 'Roughy' Rough and comedian Stuart Coulle.

Special thanks also go to all who attended and made the night a great success.
